Masisizane Service Centre, situated in the township of Inanda, was established by a group of women in the community, who had a common interest in helping the sick and the elderly. The organisation also provides care and support to orphaned children. Currently the organisation is supporting 131 beneficiaries.

The organisation offers workshops to assist their beneficiaries with skills development and income generation, the workshops include sewing, gardening, candle making, beadwork and Adult Basic Education and Training (A.B.E.T). With the food donations from FoodForward SA and the fresh produce harvested from their gardens the centre is able to provide 2 meals per day, 5 days a week to its beneficiaries.

With the saving on their monthly grocery bill, Masisizane Service Centre has been able to expand to support community members who are home-bound, by sending nutritious cooked meals with the caregivers who do home visits.
