Warwick in Africa

Warwick in Africa

Warwick in Africa (WiA) has one simple goal: to help learners escape poverty by transforming their Maths and English skills. We harness the talents of Warwick students who volunteer to teach in township and rural schools across South Africa, Ghana and Tanzania, transforming the knowledge of learners and their teachers. We see improvements in test results of over 50% and increases in confidence, ambition and attendance.

Over 300,000 learners and 2,000 teachers have benefited so far, with your support we hope to reach many more in the future.
